Janina is born in Munich and therefore are real “Münchner Kindl”. She started her surfing career on the famous Eisbach-Welle but nowadays she also feels comfortable in open water. In 2016 she the European-Championships in stationary wave surfing were held in Munich and Janina could celebrate her first international victory by surfing on the 1st place. Until today she is undefeated in this discipline. As she also fell in love with open water surfing she started to spend more time at the Sea. She became 8th in the European-Championships Open Water (Juniors) in 2018 and started for the german national team at the World Championships in Japan.
At the moment she is participating in Rapid Surf League Events to become one again European-Champion and in WSL QS Events in oder to prove her skills in open water.
